Emerson has had a great 2011 so far.  At his 18 month checkup, he measured 35" tall and 25 pounds.  He's got 9 teeth (2 of them are molars).  He loves to eat - chicken nuggets, peanut butter and honey sandwiches, chips and queso, corn dogs, pudding, yogurt, applesauce, and pretty much anything that's on our plates too!  We'll be trying crescent roll pizza pockets tonight, so we'll see how those go down.

Emerson talks like there is no tomorrow.  I can't understand it all the time, but he usually repeats himself or pantomimes until I get the point.  Silly Mummy!  Currently all dogs are Jack, which makes sense as one of our dogs is named Jack.  He loves to chase the cat while screaming "CAT!" at her over and over again.  Tilly Cat will not have an identity crisis.  He asks for more, lets us know when he's done and wants down, and still loves his cuddles.  I will be sad when those days are over!
