Visitors, Christmas, and a New Year

This December we were thrilled to have Uncle Mikey (Steve's brother) and Steve Bishop come all the way from England for a visit.  Emerson was certain they arrived solely for his amusement.

And then running...

You can't catch me, Daddy!

But not too tired to eat...

Time to say "Bye!"

Luckily for us (and for Emerson), the flight was delayed due to the snow at Heathrow, so we had a few more days to enjoy company.  The visit was over much too soon!

And then it was Christmas.  I'm pretty sure Christmas exploded all over our house.  Emerson enjoyed the opening of presents.  He's very patient about it - he'd open one, play with it for a while, help us open ours, and then be ready for another present of his own to open.  He's spoiled rotten.

We then ventured to Grammy and Granddaddy's house for brunch and more presents.  Emerson fell asleep after food, but was up and ready to go at the mention of presents!
Not too sure about Santa - but Steve is having a great time!
The only photo with Santa that even remotely looked like a smile.

Checking out his goodies.

Super excited about the keyboard Santa left for Daddy!

Blurry, but still excited about presents.

After bath and right before the door got slammed in Mummy's face.
