OK, I'm going have to break this down into sections as it has been two months since an update. I know, it's shameful.
EASTER
Emerson had a great time hunting for Easter eggs on a rather warm Saturday. He took a while to get going, but once he did, there was no stopping him! On Easter Sunday we travelled to Fort Worth for a visit with GGP and Cathy. We all ate way too much food and Emerson was admired by everyone!

POST EASTER.
We had Mother's Day celebrations, school ended, and summer began. That's about it. Emerson is a chatterbox. More and more words are becoming understandable, more and more food is being tried, and more and more curls appear in his hair every day. We've transitioned from a highchair to a booster seat - this is an at-home experiment so far. After about 30 seconds of screaming because it was new and different, he settled in and realized his reach had expanded dramatically

I don't remember when I took this (not while I was driving),
but he is letting me know there are CARS out there!

So Emerson decided to try on my hat. I may never get it back.

Chilling on the big sofa (did I mention he's figured out the climbing thing?)
Emerson and I made cookies. This is the result.
So, breakfast should always be on your nose, right?

Leo. This is the oh-so-sad view from the table.
