Emerson's 2nd Birthday

I'm behind.  Like MONTHS behind.  Summer has come and gone, birthdays have been celebrated, school has started (for TWO members of the family this year), and Halloween is tomorrow.

We'll start with the Fourth of July, which was celebrated with a large lollipop and fireworks.
The aforementioned lollipop.
Emerson's birthday was celebrated with much pomp this summer.  On the actual birthday, we had presents in the morning, a swimming lesson, then we all headed to Fort Worth for lunch and an afternoon at the Children's Museum.  Emerson was especially partial to the dinosaurs, though the toy trains were a close second.  It was HOT - too hot to stay out very long with the dino dig, which was a shame as Emerson was thoroughly enjoying himself!  Emerson's birthday party was Yo Gabba Gabba themed - his choice!  Family and friends gathered to celebrate this wonderful little boy's 2nd birthday and he had a BLAST!
